7pm: Trail and Warfield Citizen of the Year Ceremony at St. Michael’s School Gymnasium.

All Day: Setup of Westcoast Amusements rides.

Wednesday May 4th, 2011

4pm to 10pm: Westcoast Amusements gets the party started as they fire up the rides along the Esplanade.

3pm to 10pm: Gyro Casino

Noon to 10 pm: the AM Ford Bocce Classic kicks off at the Trail Curling Club. They look forward to welcoming both spectators and contestants to the 6th annual bocce tournament. Look forward to a fun, two day event packed with fun for everyone 19 to 95. Register your men’s, women’s, or mixed two-player team today! Your entry fee of $25 per player covers at least three games, lunch, refreshments and prizes. Contact Sergio Peloso at (250) 368-9881 for details.

The Silver City Days Bartender Contest is back and better than ever! Come cheer on your favorite bartenders as they give us their all for the title of "Best Place To Be". Your hosts participate in events such as "the drunk toss", " The Hi Ball Rally" "Last Call" and "Flair Pouring" plus many more!

9pm to 2am: The Trail Youth Baseball Bavarian gardens have been a highlight of Silver City Days for the over 19 crowd for over twenty years already. The Bavarian gardens combine live music, dancing, and cold drinks with good company. The Bavarian gardens will take place at the Cominco Arena Ice level. When you support Trail Youth Baseball, you support over 60 local kids in their pursuit of sporting excellence.
At Dusk: Enjoy a beautiful display of fireworks carefully orchestrated by members of the Kootenay Boundary Regional Fire Rescue team.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sunday May 8th, 2011

11am to 5pm: Family Fun Day at Gyro Park.

While enjoying the festivities at Gyro Park, please stop by the Trail SPCA's book sale and help support the animals at the Trail SPCA. If you have books to donate to the sale, please drop them off at The Coffee Coop in downtown Trail.

Flydini the Magician will also be making a special exclusive appearance during Family Fun Day.

The Kiwanis Club of Trail will be serving corn dogs, beef on a bun, coffee, tea, pop, bottled water. Come to Silver City Days and support local organizations like the Trail Kiwanis Club, and have some treats while you're at it!

The Trail Eagles will be onsite again this year, tempting patrons with delicious pulled pork! Fraternal Order of Eagles
Trail Aerie & Auxiliary #2838 sponsors over 12 local charities. Our menu will consist of Pulled Pork, Reg. Fries, Chicken Fingers, Coffee, Pop & Water. We are looking forward to seeing many come out to the Festival.
